Hello, my name is Eddy Wong, and I wanted to extend my greetings. I possess fluency in both Cantonese and English, making me bilingual. Since 2007, I have been working as a speech therapist in Hong Kong, where I have developed a strong interest in childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).

In 2017, I successfully completed an MPhil program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), concentrating my research on CAS in Cantonese-speaking children. Recently, in January 2024, I achieved the noteworthy accomplishment of earning a Ph.D. degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).

Throughout my professional journey, I have engaged in a range of research and educational activities. These include securing both internal and external grants, publishing and reviewing articles for academic journals, presenting at local and international conferences, organizing conferences and symposiums, teaching at the university level, delivering talks at continuing education seminars and workshops, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects, as well as overseeing student clinicians during their clinical placements.
